Pecan Street Festival is one of the largest and longest-running classic festivals in Austin, Texas. The festival has been around since 2006. This exciting event is all about arts, crafts and music. Pecan Street Festival is traditionally held in the downtown Austin’s charming Sixth Street Historic District in spring (on the first weekend of May) and in fall (on the last weekend of September). The event lasts two days.
The goal of the event is to raise money for supporting the Pecan Street Association that is responsible for preservation of the legendary the 6-th Street. The street has become a historical landmark in Austin, TX.
